Tekashi 6ix9ine detailed his turbulent teenage years, including going to jail for selling narcotics at just 16. Before his music career took off, the rapper worked several grueling jobs, including washing dishes and working at a deli, where he sold substances, leading to his juvenile arrest. He also recalled a police raid on his home during his youth. Tekashi explained that his entry into music began around 2012 after encouragement from a tattoo artist he met while working deliveries.
