Jackie MacMullan became the latest person Kevin Durant called out on social media after the sports journalist gave her take on the two-time champion's goals as a member of the Brooklyn Nets.
During an appearance on the Bill Simmons Podcast, the ESPN columnist expressed her belief that KD wants to win three titles with the Nets.
"I do think in talking with him, his genuine goal is to win three championships in Brooklyn," MacMullan said. "Make it his place, his team, his legacy. That could've happened this year, but a lot of weird stuff happened."
Despite MacMullan complimenting Durant's skill set and stating that her take was simply her impression, KD called her out and made it clear he has no relationship with the sportswriter.
"Once again, I don't even talk like this…plus I don't have a relationship with Jackie for us to have in depth conversations about my intentions as a basketball player," Durant tweeted. "I get she plays an opinion based sport but she framed this like we are friends. We are not."
MacMullan is the latest person to find themselves at odds with Durant. In recent months, KD has had public disputes with Scottie Pippen, Jay Williams, Shannon Sharpe, and Michael Rapaport.
