Kevin Durant moved on from Michael Rapaport and found himself in a social media feud with Shannon Sharpe after calling out the Undisputed co-host for using a fake quote.

During a recent episode of Sharpe's show with Skip Bayless, the NFL Hall of Famer criticized Durant for a quote in which he claimed to be better than LeBron James after defeating him twice in the NBA Finals. However, the two-time NBA champion never said what he was accused of saying.

When the misquote came across Durant's radar, he called out Sharpe on Twitter.

"Y'all drunk uncle out here lying again. When did I say this @ShannonSharpe????????????????????" KD asked.

Durant also retweeted the fake quote and wrote, "Shannon went on tv responding to this quote like I actually said this. Gullible fans will believe it, or say 'you was thinking this anyway' it's comedy at this point."

In a possible attempt to deflect from referencing a fake quote or simply refusing to believe Durant, Shannon Sharpe responded to a Twitter user calling out the made-up remark.

"Y'all remember the fake account when KD said: now everybody wanna play for the heat and Lakers?" Sharpe wrote. "Let's go back to being competitive and going at these peoples. Then joins 73-9 warriors and builds Nets into a superpower with Kyrie and Harden. OMG."

Kevin Durant refused to let his question go unanswered and responded to his remark by writing, "Ole Shannon refuses to respond to me. Yo Shannon why are u using your platform to push fake quotes about me???"

Once the former tight end responded to the Nets' star player, he attempted to take the conversation away from Twitter. However, Durant pointed out that Sharpe addressed him publicly and questioned why the conversation had to become private.

"We can talk in front of everybody, it ain't that serious Shannon, u go on tv in front of everybody pushing fake s*** but now u wanna talk in private??? Why u lying on tv Shannon???"

Finally, Sharpe exited the conversation and wished the former MVP luck for the rest of NBA season before blocking him. Once Durant realized he'd been blocked, he posted a screenshot of the blocked page and wrote, "But I'm sensitive."
