House Speaker, Paul Ryan, became the talk of the U.S. political landscape on Thursday night [Jan. 12], after staging a Town Hall meeting in which he promised to lead the Republican effort to repeal and replace Obamacare, called Russia a menace, and spoke of the unlikeliness of mass deportations early on under Trump's regime. But he also picked his spots to interject some humor into the evening, at one point demonstrating his knowledge of dabbing before the CNN audience.

"I actually do know what a dab is, ok? Just, for the record, [it's this] you know, I do," Ryan said, posing the move in the fashion which was particularly popularized by Cam Newton. The subject arose as he spoke in retrospect, to address headlines which assumed he was clueless when during the swearing in of Congressman Roger Marshall, his son dabbed as reporters snapped photos.  "That's not dabbing in my opinion. Cam Newton dabs, alright?" Ryan said, before asserting that he actually thought the teen was sneezing.
