Part 1: Memo600 on His Brother "Lil Steve" Getting Shot & Killed
--------
In this VladTV interview, Chicago rapper Memo600 reflects on the loss of his younger brother Lil Steve, who was killed just days after his birthday, and the unresolved pain that followed. Memo speaks candidly with Vlad about Scrap from MOB being charged and later acquitted in the case, why he says he never wanted anyone sent to prison, and how he views street justice, grief, and accountability years later. He also reveals that his mother spoke with the mother of the man accused of killing Lil Steve, describing an emotional moment of shared loss involving Ruger, Scrap’s older brother. Memo discusses how Steve Drive was named in his brother’s memory, the impact of young teens caught in Chicago violence, and his early connection to Chief Keef, who was once his neighbor and dated his sister. A raw conversation on family, tragedy, drill music history, and growing up in Chicago.
