Memo600 sits down with VladTV for his first interview, reflecting on growing up in Chicago’s 600 block, King Drive, the Robert Taylor Homes, and life around GDs and BDs without formally joining a gang. He opens up about being raised by his mother while his father served time, his family dynamic, and the younger brother he knew as “Lil Steve.”
The conversation turns to the violent stretch of 2011, when Chicago’s streets saw the deaths of Baldi, 600 founder D Thang, and then 15-year-old Lil Steve just days later. Memo recounts being with Chief Keef shortly before Steve left with RondoNumbaNine, hearing gunfire nearby, and the devastating moment he learned his brother had been shot. He also addresses being connected to Lil Durk’s OTF circle and mentioned during the OTF Jam testimony in the Durk trial.
