Part 6: Cody Alford on Wanting to Take His Own Life After Leaving Marines
Part 1: Marine Cody Alford on Getting Shot in the Head on 1st Day of Battle of Fallujah
--------
In this VladTV interview, former Marine Cody Alford weighs in on the Israel-Hamas war, the October 7 attacks, civilian deaths in Gaza, and the heated global debate over “Free Palestine.” Vlad, who is Jewish and has visited Israel, argues that Hamas’ atrocities and Benjamin Netanyahu’s military response both deserve scrutiny. Alford, drawing from combat experience against the Taliban and insurgents, discusses how war, ideology, mainstream media, antisemitism, and social media narratives shape public opinion. The conversation also touches on Macklemore’s pro-Palestine controversy, Ed Sheeran, genocide accusations, and why Alford believes people are being pushed to “pick a side” while conflicts in Africa and elsewhere receive far less attention. A candid discussion on Gaza, Israel, Palestine, terrorism, civilian casualties, and the broader human cost of war.
