Part 9: Nicholas Irving: No Soldier Fights for America, We Fight for Ego
Part 1: Nicholas Irving on His Book Reaper Revelations Exposes Governments in Human Trafficking
--------
Shawn Prez and Nicholas Irving weigh in on the approaching midterm elections, the nonstop news cycle around Donald Trump, and why Election Day polls may not capture what voters really feel. Irving challenges the reliability of political polling, pointing back to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 numbers, while arguing that everyday signs—gas prices, grocery stores, and public frustration—tell a different story. The conversation moves into distrust of government, voter power, and the sense that American politics has become “a big TV show.” Prez and Irving also discuss possible future figures like Gavin Newsom and Kamala Harris, rising interest in socialism, and names like Mamdani as voters search for something different. From Michigan to national politics, the debate captures a growing demand for change, uncertainty, and what Irving calls “true freedom.”
