--------

Rex Holloway sits down with Vlad to reflect on 21 years out of prison, his past in the Aryan Brotherhood, and the unexpected path that led him to marry a Black woman. Holloway explains why Texas prison politics were more complicated than outsiders assume, sharing stories from Ferguson Unit, South Dallas, Texas DPS traffic stops, and time spent with Black cellmates and mentors. He also discusses racial lines inside prison, the Mexican Mafia, Crips, Bloods, Torres Unit, Ramsey/Jester Unit, and how identity shaped survival behind bars.

The conversation also turns to life after incarceration, felony records, jobs, housing, blue-collar work, and the challenges of reentry into society. Holloway pushes back on the idea that prison is always a revolving door, while Vlad highlights the legal barriers many former inmates still face.
