Part 9: Maino on Adapting to Prison Violence & Participating in "Razor Tag" Knife Fights
Part 1: Maino Claims His New Song "Algorithm" Isn't a 50 Cent Diss Record, Vlad Disagrees

--------

In a candid interview, rapper Maino opened up about disturbing prison practices reported in Chicago jails, specifically the "Savage Life" and "Glock Dookie." Vlad, the interviewer, described "Savage Life" as a brutal form of assault where inmates knock out rivals and spit on them, an act forcing victims to register as sexual assault offenders. The "Glock Dookie" involves inmates crafting foul weapons from feces to intimidate or attack others.

Maino, who has served time in multiple New York state prisons, expressed disbelief and distanced himself from such acts. "I never played with that s***," he said emphatically, stressing he never engaged in or witnessed such behavior during his incarceration. According to Maino, while predators exist in prison, these degrading and dangerous acts seem more prevalent in other states, not New York. His testimony sheds light on the varying and disturbing realities inside U.S. prisons depending on location.
