Known for his wild persona, New Jack was unlike anyone else in wrestling, Dudley explained, recalling both their fierce in-ring battles and personal beef off the ring. Their feud escalated when Dudley included Tupac-inspired lyrics that referenced New Jack (Jerome Young) on a WWE album track, which infuriated New Jack to the point of threatening to shoot him.
Despite the volatility, the two eventually reconciled, with Dudley sharing a touching moment where they expressed mutual respect and affection before New Jack’s passing. Dudley also revealed a near-death incident during a high-risk stunt involving a 40-foot balcony drop through tables, where he admitted to intentionally throwing New Jack onto the tables in retaliation — an act that could have been fatal.
