In a revealing interview with VladTV, wrestling legend Devon Dudley discussed his difficult upbringing in Brooklyn, New York. Born in 1972 to a 16-year-old mother who was pregnant at 15, Devon’s early life was far from easy. His biological father was a prominent drug dealer involved in street crime and largely absent from his life. “He wasn’t there to guide me,” Devon explained, recalling how his interactions with his father were infrequent and often related to discipline rather than support. Instead, it was his stepfather, Preston, who eventually stepped in as a positive paternal figure. Devon also credited his grandmother for holding the family together during those turbulent times, calling her the foundation that helped raise him.
