Rising rapper 42 Dugg recently opened up about a turbulent chapter in his life involving legal troubles and a high-speed police chase. During an interview, 42 Dugg revealed that he violated probation by visiting a gun range—a felony offense since felons are prohibited from possessing firearms, even temporarily. Despite following proper protocols like showing ID and using rental guns, federal authorities arrested him, an experience he felt was excessive given the circumstances.
While out on bail for this incident, 42 Dugg admitted to the high-speed chase with police because he simply "didn't want to deal with cops that day." He was eventually caught after authorities tracked him via traffic cameras and placed under house arrest, restricted heavily with an ankle monitor and supervised travel by U.S. Marshals, all at significant personal expense.
Reflecting on the ordeal, 42 Dugg expressed frustration over how these incidents interrupted his life and career just as his music began to gain major momentum.
