In a candid interview, 42 Dugg revealed that his biggest song ever, "We Paid" featuring Lil Baby, was created just before the pandemic, starting in Miami and finishing in Los Angeles. Despite initial doubts about the chorus, the track took off, reaching the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100, going five times platinum, and amassing over half a billion YouTube views. Lil Baby knew immediately they had a hit, and the success brought 42 Dugg widespread recognition and financial rewards.
With the newfound wealth, 42 Dugg bought a house and gradually built an impressive car collection, eventually owning around ten luxury and muscle cars, including a Demon, Durango, Dodge Charger, Escalade, Bentley GT, G-Wagon, Lamborghini, and Maybach. His favorite? The American muscle car Demon. Reflecting on collaborations, 42 Dugg hinted at group projects with Lil Baby and others, showing no signs of slowing down after the massive success of "We Paid."
