Spears, who appeared twice on the iconic 90s sitcom *A Different World*—a show produced by Debbie Allen and executive produced by Cosby—reflected on the cultural significance of the show as one of the first to showcase Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
However, Spears did not shy away from condemning Cosby’s newly revealed admission that he purchased Quaaludes specifically to drug women. “He’s a dirty motherf***er,” Spears bluntly stated, pointing out that while Cosby’s legacy as a groundbreaking figure in Black television remains, his actions have severely tarnished his reputation.
