In a revealing interview, former inmate Javier “Panama” Card disclosed his intense hatred toward Panama’s ex-dictator Manuel Noriega and a chilling plan to kill him if Noriega ever ended up in the same U.S. prison. Noriega, who ruled Panama during the 1980s and collaborated with the Medellín Cartel to traffic cocaine, was captured following the 1989 U.S. invasion and later imprisoned in the U.S.
Javier recounted how Noriega’s regime prioritized money over the people, a stark contrast to previous Panamanian leadership focused on wealth distribution and national improvement. When discussing Noriega’s imprisonment, Javier admitted he once vowed to stab the former dictator “from the top of his head to his pinky toe” to avenge friends lost under Noriega’s rule.
