Javier “Panama” Card, former Washington D.C. drug kingpin and leader of a violent trafficking organization in the ’80s and ’90s, recently recounted an intense chapter of his criminal past on Vlad TV. Born and raised partly in Santa Cruz, Panama, Card explained how his early crimes began with robbing tourists—a common activity in certain Panamanian neighborhoods during that era. He described how his crew specifically targeted tourists, whom they perceived as wealthy vacationers. Card also revealed a shocking incident where Panamanian authorities violently clashed with his crew, killing 15 members involved in these robberies. Although convicted on multiple charges including murder and conspiracy, Card is now out of prison and sharing his story, offering a candid look into the origins of his criminal life and the harsh realities he faced on both sides of the law.
