In a recent interview, former Army Ranger Nicholas Irving voiced sharp criticism of rapper Blueface, labeling him a "degenerate" and expressing disbelief over the rapper’s repeated prison stints. The conversation came up while discussing the "F the Streets" movement popularized by 21 Savage, which Blueface controversially echoed on social media after his latest release from prison.
Irving dismissed Blueface’s credibility, pointing out his failure to learn from multiple incarcerations and mocking his distinctive tattoos. "I'm never going to listen to a man who's been to prison multiple times," Irving said, emphasizing that life in the streets leads to short-lived success or worse. He challenged Blueface to stay true to the streets rather than hopping on others' streams and podcasts.
Further expressing his disdain, Irving joked about creating a "Streets Island" — an isolated place for those entrenched in that lifestyle, complete with a single studio for rappers willing to "fight the good fight." His comments highlight the ongoing tension between street credibility and commercial rap culture.
