Former Army Ranger Nicholas Irving openly discussed the shocking incident where Tekashi 6ix9ine’s mother was held at gunpoint during a home invasion. Irving expressed disbelief and harsh criticism of the rapper's continued provocative behavior despite such a traumatic event. “If someone put a gun to my mother, I wouldn’t be mad if they never saw daylight again,” Irving said bluntly, emphasizing how crossing that line is unacceptable in the streets.
Irving also questioned 6ix9ine’s street credibility, calling him a “clown” who thrives on trolling and controversy to maintain fame and fortune. He highlighted that 6ix9ine’s repeated reckless actions, despite the danger to his family, suggest a disconnect from reality. Irving sympathized with the rapper’s struggles but urged him to learn from the violent break-in and move on from the antagonistic lifestyle that continues to put his and his family’s safety at risk.
