Gina Conway opened up about her involvement in the murder case that led to the arrests of Max B and Kelvin “Poo Sims.” All three were indicted on charges including murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, conspiracy, and weapons offenses. Facing 75 years in prison, Gina revealed she was accused by Max B’s defense team of masterminding the crime—an allegation she firmly denied, citing her unfamiliarity with New York City as evidence.
While Gina remained jailed due to a $1 million bail she couldn’t afford and relied on a court-appointed lawyer, Max B was bailed out and maintained communication with her, even offering to pay for her legal fees. Despite cooperating with authorities, Gina said she only learned about her statement against Max B during arraignment proceedings. She also touched on Max B’s struggles after his release, including public conflicts and substance abuse, noting she was incarcerated during much of that time and had limited information.
