--------

Clarence Robertson, also known as 38 Flav, opened up about his experiences being affiliated with the Crips and his turbulent run-ins with federal authorities. Growing up connected to the Crips in California and Texas, Robertson became entangled in violent conflicts, including a notable shootout in San Bernardino. His criminal activities caught the attention of the ATF and FBI by 1992, culminating in his arrest while transporting five bricks of cocaine and a gun to Texas. In a daring escape, Robertson recounted how he deliberately injured himself by busting open the back of his head during custody, forcing authorities to rush him to a hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Amid the chaos and hospital commotion, he managed to slip away, evading law enforcement for about three months.
