Clarence Robertson opened up about the pivotal moment at age 14 when he stabbed a bully with a butcher knife. Growing up in Baton Rouge without his father—who was frequently incarcerated—Clarence was raised by his mother and grandmother in a tough environment where violence was often a route to respect. He recounted how constant bullying and physical abuse from a peer pushed him to take drastic action. After stabbing the boy in the chest, Clarence was sent to juvenile detention, but found that the violent act earned him status and respect from older gangsters in his neighborhood. He described the feeling of power he experienced and how it shaped his choices, ultimately leading him into a life of crime.
