Part 1: Clarence Robertson on Stabbing His Bully at 14: I Felt Power, The OGs Started Respecting Me
--------
Clarence "38 Flav" Robertson opened up about his daring escapes from juvenile hall and life on the run. His first breakout was a bold attempt to attend a Rick James concert in 1981, which ended quickly but highlighted his fearless spirit. However, his initial escape as a younger boy was more innocent, seeking refuge at a kind woman’s home for brownies and milk. In 1982, at just 15, Clarence escaped juvenile custody again, evading authorities for several months. During this time, he found himself embroiled in violent street conflicts and multiple shootings. In one of his most audacious escapes from federal agents, Clarence disguised himself as a woman to slip past a heavy police presence.
