He points out that the Founding Fathers largely depended on enslaved Africans to build their wealth and maintain their plantations.
Nasheed also criticized recent attempts in places like Arkansas and Missouri to establish “whites-only” towns, warning of the dangerous legal precedents these enclaves could set. These private communities aim to bypass anti-discrimination laws under the guise of exclusivity but threaten to revive segregationist practices reminiscent of sundown towns. Both Nasheed and Vlad dismiss these enclaves, emphasizing the necessity of inclusivity for a thriving society and equitable use of public funds.
