To address the matter openly, Vlad invited Tariq Nasheed—an outspoken FBA advocate—to discuss the significance of FBA identity and lineage.
Joining the conversation was Willie D, who emphasized the importance of unity within the Black community, while respecting distinct lineages like FBAs, Jamaicans, and Nigerians. Both Tariq and Willie stressed that recognizing and respecting each group’s unique history is not divisive but critical for empowerment and protection from exploitation. The dialogue highlighted ongoing efforts to preserve FBA identity and foster greater solidarity across the African diaspora.
