YSL co-defendants have been held in the same Fulton County Jail where YFN Lucci was stabbed and where 25 deaths have occurred, according to journalist George Chidi. Young Thug has reportedly been lodged at Cobb County Jail to prevent contact with Lucci. Chidi pointed out critical issues with Fulton County Jail and brought the focus to numerous YSL members receiving unreasonable plea deals, which include prolonged probation of up to 15 years. He suggested such terms could set them up for future penalization, as was the case with Young Thug's brother, who violated his probation terms due to a firearms charge. Chidi criticized the justice system, referring to the pitfalls of these plea deals, and gave the example of a conflicted witness who was obliged by the court but was hesitant to incriminate Young Thug.
