Despite the nuances of the situation and critics denouncing Gunna as a "snitch," his career flourished even further after releasing a successful album. Chidi argued that most fans, who are not actively involved in street crimes, don't seem to care about allegations of snitching as these scenarios don't reflect their reality. He criticized rap for posturing around the streets, which he believes does not accurately represent the day-to-day experiences of most Black individuals.
