Last month, Tay-K appeared in court, where a judge gave him a plea deadline in his second murder case. Now, "The Race" rapper appeared in court again to reveal that he turned down the state's plea offer, which means the case will now head to trial.

Back in 2019, Tay-K was indicted on a capital murder charge, as he is accused of shooting and killing 23-year-old Mark Anthony Saldivar during an April 2017 robbery. Tay-K was 16 at the time of the incident, and he was on the run for participating in a botched robbery that left one man dead in 2016. Tay-K was sentenced to 55 years in prison for that incident.

The judge in his most recent court appearance, explained that they would reconvene for a trial date on March 11.
