A Maryland cop named Francisco Marlett was suspended after a video of him going in the backseat of his cruiser with a woman while he was on duty went viral on social media. Now, the cop's wife is speaking out about the situation.
Paula Marlett commented on the video on Facebook, writing, "There goes my husband and his Mistress. I'm not doing OK … It constantly pops up on my f***ing newsfeed and I have to constantly re-watch it over and over again." She added, "This is a very tough time for me and my kids.
After Paula wrote about the "embarrassing and painful" experience, she claimed the woman in the video is named Virginia Pinto. Paula stated, "Yes I know what’s been going on. Virginia’s husband left her ass a long time ago bc she cheated so she and my husband decided to do this behind my back for years."
Paula then stated, "I Love you all. Except for you Virginia you can rot in hell, b*tch."
This led to Virginia responding to Paula, writing in her own post, "Not that I owe anyone an explanation, this girl has been cheating on her husband for a while now herself." She added, "I’ve done nothing wrong. … Please don’t be mad at me because your husband wants me."

A video went viral showing a Prince George's County police officer getting into the back seat of a police cruiser with a woman. The officer has been identified as Francesco Marlette, who was previously facing allegations of child abuse in 2016, but those charges were dropped and expunged. The video, which has over 2 million views in just 24 hours, shows the uniformed officer with an unidentified woman entering the back of the cruiser. The video ends at that point. The person who posted the video stated that their cousin shot it at the South Lawn Neighborhood Park. This incident is currently under investigation by the police department's internal affairs.
The state's attorney for Prince George's County has also seen the video and mentioned that it is difficult to determine the full context and circumstances from a one-dimensional camera angle. However, police departments have general orders on how officers should conduct themselves while on duty to prevent such incidents. At this point, there is no evidence to suggest that anything criminal occurred, but the case may be referred to the state's attorney's office in the future. Further updates on the investigation are pending.
