Although The Chronic (by Dr. Dre) and Doggystyle (by Snoop Dogg) are widely regarded as the West Coast rap albums primarily responsible for introducing weed culture into hip hop, Cypress Hill's self-titled debut album predated them both by over one year. Popular tracks like "Hand on the Pump" complemented weed-centric anthems such as "Stoned Is the Way of the Walk" and "Light Another." With 35 years in the rap game, firmly notched under their belts, B-Real, Sen Dog, and Bobo remain a touring band, while the prospect of DJ Muggs returning to the fold remains a real possibility.

Cypress Hill currently has a string of live shows lined up stateside before the European leg of their tour kicks off during the latter part of the Summer. This week, footage surfaced of a security guard sharing a funny story about getting a contact high from the rap legends during a recent tour stop.
