Today was supposed to be the day that famed podcast host Taxstone was sentenced after being convicted on charges related to the 2016 shooting death of Troy Ave's bodyguard at Irving Plaza. However, VladTV has learned from sources related to the case that the sentencing date has been pushed back to June 20, 2023.

Taxstone (real name Daryl Campbell) was found guilty of multiple charges in March, including manslaughter, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon, due to the 2016 shooting death of Ronald "Banga" McPhatter. However, the media personality was found not guilty of the more serious charges, second-degree murder and attempted murder.

VladTV sources pointed out that Taxstone's sentencing date was moved at the request of Taxstone himself. Taxstone was arrested for the May 2016 shooting on January 17, 2017, and has remained in custody ever since.
