Online media personality Taxstone (real name Daryl Campbell) was found guilty of manslaughter Thursday for the death of Troy Ave's bodyguard, Ronald "Banga" McPhatter, who was fatally shot during a 2016 altercation inside Irving Plaza.

Taxstone was also convicted of assault in the first degree (two counts), assault in the second degree, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. Despite being found guilty of multiple charges, Taxstone was found not guilty of more serious charges including second-degree murder and attempted murder.

The 2016 altercation was caused by a feud between Taxstone and Troy Ave. The shooting resulted in Troy Ave being wounded, along with two others, and McPhatter's death. The incident also caused lawsuits for the venue and Live Nation. Troy Ave also testified during the trial and detailed the struggle between himself and Taxstone over the gun that fatally shot McPhatter.

"Daryl Campbell was convicted of killing a man and shooting three others during a tragic and deadly confrontation in a packed New York City music venue," said District Attorney Alvin Bragg. "In addition to seriously injuring his rival and killing his rival's bodyguard, Mr. Campbell shot innocent bystanders and put hundreds of other lives at risk. We will vigorously prosecute anyone who commits this type of deadly violence."

Taxstone is scheduled to be sentenced on April 19.
