Update 05/01/2023 4:16pm:

Previously, Suge Knight claimed that Dr. Dre did not produce Snoop Dogg’s ‘Doggystyle’ album and claimed that he told Daz Dillinger to reject a buyout proposal from Dr. Dre, claiming Daz signed it anyways. Now, Daz has entered the chat, responding directly to claims made by the former Death Row Records head honcho.

Via Instagram, Daz said, “Hey, Dr. Dre is the best producer in the motherf**king world. I did not have nothing to do with that, Dr. Dre did that on his own. Suge Knight is lying, I ain’t sign a motherf**king thing.” From there, Daz called out Suge, saying, “He’s just covering s**t up because of everything that Snoop has uncovered in the Death Row unveiling of all the business and shady s**t that Alan Grunblatt, little fat f**ker, and what they was doing and how they was still in cahoots with Suge Knight. So he’s just making up s**t right now.” Watch his complete statement above.

Suge Knight reportedly has a TV series on the way, where he will speak on his involvement in how some of the iconic records created at Death Row Records were made. One point Knight got across while speaking to TMZ about his show was that Dr. Dre was allegedly not involved in the making of the biggest songs from the label.

While talking to the media outlet from a California state penitentiary, Knight said the record distributor wanted Dr. Dre’s name on Snoop Dogg’s ‘Doggystyle’ album to help boost the reach of the record.

Suge then noted that he told producer Daz Dillinger to reject a buyout proposal from Dre, but Daz proceeded to go along with the plan anyways. From there, Knight made it clear he was going to present his version of the ‘Doggystyle’ story on the BLK Prime TV series scheduled to release that will examine his life. Listen above.
