Suge Knight reportedly has a TV series on the way, where he will speak on his involvement in how some of the iconic records created at Death Row Records were made. One point Knight got across while speaking to TMZ about his show was that Dr. Dre was allegedly not involved in the making of the biggest songs from the label.
While talking to the media outlet from a California state penitentiary, Knight said the record distributor wanted Dr. Dre’s name on Snoop Dogg’s ‘Doggystyle’ album to help boost the reach of the record.
Suge then noted that he told producer Daz Dillinger to reject a buyout proposal from Dre, but Daz proceeded to go along with the plan anyways. From there, Knight made it clear he was going to present his version of the ‘Doggystyle’ story on the BLK Prime TV series scheduled to release that will examine his life. Listen above.
