The one-on-one matchup between Andrew Wiggins and Jayson Tatum was one of the most pivotal aspects of the 2022 NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. The Warriors' wingman averaged 18.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while holding the opposing team's best player to an abysmal shooting percentage of 36.7%. From an offensive and defensive standpoint, an argument can be that Wiggins was the best player in the 2022 NBA Finals and the primary reason the Warriors defeated the Celtics in six games. Wiggins finished the 2022 postseason with a higher plus-minus (+140) than any other qualifying player. Needless to say, when it comes to pressure-packed moments on the basketball court, Wiggins proved his poised, cold-blooded, and clutch. But as the pressure mounts off the court, Wiggins has been absent from the Golden State Warriors since Valentine's Day amid rumors that the mother of his child, Mychal Johnson, slept with his best friend. Right now, Wiggins' immediate family needs him, but so does his basketball family. The defending champions are barely hanging on to the sixth seed in the West, and they have the third-worst road record in the conference as they appear desperate for Wiggins to come back and provide a much-needed spark to their starting lineup.

Ma$e has weighed in on a variety of trending sports topics as an analyst for Cam'ron's podcast, It Is What It Is. The Harlem-based rapper recently took to Instagram to pose a question about the alleged family drama that has kept a healthy Andrew Wiggins away from the Warriors this year.

"Yo, I know how long it took [Kevin Durant] to recover after he tore his Achilles, and I saw how long it took Klay Thompson to recover after he tore his meniscus. But how long [is it going to] take Andrew Wiggins to return from a broken heart?" Asked Ma$e. "Ya'll let me know."

The Warriors head coach, Steve Kerr, recently said that Wiggins has been working out every day while away from the team. He's missed 20 straight games, and there is still no return date in sight.
