In 2022, it was reported that Xzibit was being sued by his ex-wife Krista Joiner, who says the artist allegedly broke a verbal promise to take care of her financially for the rest of her life. Now, Joiner has demanded a $6,000 increase in support, which would bring the amount of support to $14,000.
Joiner claims she had to borrow money from friends and family to support their 12-year-old son Gatlyn, who Joiner claims Xzibit hasn’t seen in months. The court document from the ex-spouse went on to say, “I believe the last time he actually saw Gatlyn was around [Xzibit’s] own birthday in September 2022. Gatlyn called [Xzibit] on Christmas and [Xzibit] refused to answer or call him back. Our son is devastated.”
Along with that, Joiner alleges that the rapper hasn’t submitted the financial records she asked for and stopped paying the full amount for their son’s tuition. Stay tuned for more updates.
