According to a report from The Blast, Xzibit is being sued by his ex-wife Krista Joiner for allegedly breaking a verbal promise to take care of her financially for the rest of her life.
Joiner sued the rapper and cannabis business owner, claiming he hasn’t honored their agreement despite the promise. The lawsuit claims that X promised to provide financial support as long as she remained a homemaker. Krista claims she held up her side, but the rapper hasn’t.
The lawsuit claimed that Xzibit pushed to take care of Krista’s finances if she decided to seek employment outside of her house. Because of that, Krista believes she should be paid for being a “confidant, companion, social and business partner, homemaker, housekeeper and consultant to Defendant in connection with financial and family matters.” The suit said that once their relationship ended, any property acquired or businesses established by the rapper during their relationship “would be divided equally between them.” Stay tuned for more updates.
