The death of Tyre Nichols at the hands of multiple former Memphis police officers has sent shockwaves across the nation, with the footage of the beating being released by the city of Memphis. Now, Boosie has reacted to the tragic incident, giving his unfiltered takes on the events that transpired.
Via Twitter, Boosie said, “If [Tyre] was white, those Black officers would not have a bond!!” One of the former officers—Justin Smith, recently posted a $250,000 bond following his arrest for second-degree murder, two counts of aggravated kidnapping, one count of official oppression, and more in relation to the tragic incident.
Boosie continued, "I been telling y’all [about] these pigs for 20 years!! [And] police always get light sentences, we never get our get back!!”
The rapper concluded by noting what would happen if any of his kids were lost at the hands of a cop, saying “A COP KILLING MY KID ON CAMERA, ITS OVER!! IM TRICKED OFF THE STREET!! BACK ON DEATH ROW B***H.” Take a look above.
