In this clip, Shawn Prez started off by asking Bubba Sparxxx about his early writing process and how his fellow high school students viewed him. Bubba explained that a lot of people thought he was just a cool kid who played football, which he said was the thing he was most known for as a teen. He then stated that a lot of people in his area didn’t believe he could become a rapper, which Bubba said he understood, and Bubba went on to speak about moving to Athens, Georgia. After moving away from home after high school, Bubba admits he got homesick and moved back home, where he was “drifting” before he moved to Athens. After moving, Bubba revealed that he started taking music more seriously, which you can hear more about above.
