On Saturday (January 7) night, over 19,000 fans packed the Capital One Arena in D.C. to see Gervonta Davis face off against Hector Luis Garcia.
During Round 8 of the fight, the referee paused the match due to an altercation ringside. It was later revealed that tensions brewed between Meek Mill's crew and former WBC featherweight world champion Gary Russell Jr.
People in both Meek and Gary's crews were seen pushing one another and shouting, but after the fight was paused, they quieted down to the fight could resume. Gervonta ended up beating Garcia in a TKO in Round 8.
