The success of the hit series Wednesday has propelled Jenna Ortega into the upper echelon of young Hollywood. Her compelling performance as the lead in Netflix's Addam's Family spin-off recently earned her a Golden Globe nomination for "Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series." Thus, making her the second-youngest actress ever to garner such a prestigious distinction. Breaking records in the month of December has practically become a recurring theme for the 20-year-old. Over the course of the past four weeks, the hit series has surpassed Netflix viewership milestones once held by Stranger Things 4, DAHMER and The Crown. In addition to breaking  viewersihp for the first and second week of a show's debut, Wednesday also went #1 in 83 out of the 93 countries where Netflix keeps track of viewership ratings.

Jenna's record-breaking run in the month of December doesn't end with television. The Mexican/Puerto Rican-American Actress created a viral "Wednesday" dance that has transcended her show and completey taken over social media. As of now, variations of her "Wednesday" dance has been viewed well 400 million times on TikTok. A couple of days after she was nominted for a Golden Globe Award, a trailer for her upcoming film, Scream 6, was released on YouTube. The Trailer garnered over three million views in within its first 24 hours of being published; that is also a world-record.
