Previously, it was reported that YSL RICO defendants Gunna and Walter Murphy both entered plea deals. Now, it appears Young Thug has caught a break in a pre-trial hearing for the RICO case.
Brian Steel, the lawyer for Young Thug argued for suppression of evidence during the pre-trial hearing. While doing that, footage of a naked man reportedly flashed across the screen. The video was shut down, and the hearing continued.
Thugger’s team wanted to exclude evidence obtained from cell phones seized during a search of his home in 2015. The charges stemming from the raid were tossed by a judge, who ruled the search unconstitutional. Judge Glanville made the evidence inadmissible by prosecutors, saying, “You didn’t have the right to keep that. You didn’t have the right to keep that particular evidence.”
News of this comes after Gunna’s lawyer Steve Sadow cleared up details about Gunna’s plea deal to VladTV.
