Reports surfaced noting Nike has officially severed all ties with Kyrie Irving a month after Irving’s partnership with the brand was suspended. A spokesperson for Nike confirmed the news to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Previously, Irving posted a film that reportedly contained anti-semitic tropes, causing much backlash. The initial lack of apology from Irving caused the Brooklyn Nets star to be suspended from his team as well as Nike. Along with that, the brand canceled his upcoming signature shoe, the Kyrie 8.

Via Twitter, Charania said “Kyrie Irving is no longer a Nike athlete, Nike spokesperson says. The sides have parted ways one month after Nike suspended its relationship with the Nets star. Irving has one of the most popular signature shoes in the NBA and is now a sneaker free agent.” Stay tuned for more updates.
