Kyrie Irving continues to feel the backlash from the fallout of his posting a link to a video containing antisemitic tropes and falsehoods. Irving has since been suspended by the Brooklyn Nets for refusing to provide an unequivocal disavowal of the film. He finally managed to give a more direct and formal apology on Instagram hours after being suspended. But it's not stopping there.

Late Friday, Nike announced that they would be suspending their relationship with Irving and plan to halt production and the release of his signature sneaker. In a statement released on the matter, the sports apparel giant said “At Nike, we believe there is no place for hate speech and we condemn any form of antisemitism…We are deeply saddened and disappointed by the situation and its impact on everyone.”
