Last week it was announced that Kanye West’s Donda Academy was abruptly closed following the recent controversy surrounding the rapper. Along with that, the school’s basketball team, the Donda Doves, had their tournament at Morehouse College canceled. Now, Keyshia Cole has chimed in with more information related to her child and Donda Academy.
The singer noted that she pulled her son DJ out of the school via Twitter. “I took my DJ out of Donda sadly after Ye said he was back to shoot the school up, that scared me a bit. 😞.”
Cole noted she had no issue with discussing the matter, saying, “And there was no NDA signed.” She said, “IDK who may have, but that wasn’t brought up to us.” News of this comes after Boston Celtics player Jaylen Brown revealed he was exiting from Donda Sports following West’s past controversial moments. Take a look above.
