Previously, news surfaced noting Antonio Brown was sued by his record label Secure The Bag after he allegedly tried to scam the company out of $500,000 by using Lil Wayne’s name. STB went on to say Brown made “lewd, racist, sexist, and threatening remarks towards Secure The Bag execs and others,” while working with the label’s owner Ryan Kane and his staff.
The suit claimed that Brown told the company he spoke to Lil Wayne directly, and that the rapper was asking for $250,000 from Brown directly. Kane eventually signed over a check, but went on to say he was stopping payment after changing his mind. Kane went on to say he got in touch with Wayne’s camp himself and it was revealed that Brown lied to him about the price. Wayne was only expecting to receive $150,000 for working with Brown, while Brown was set to pocket the rest. As a result, Kane filed a suit against Brown.
Now, Brown has taken to social media to show off the checks signed over to him from Secure The Bag. One of the photos found Brown posting a photo of the $250,000 check along with the caption: “I get paid to rap, paid to snap. Ryan Kane STB is not secure, this is a stop payment for my new track feat. Lil Wayne.” Brown went on to say “Report truth, it’s unethical per source Cab Records Inc C A B hol on wait.” As of now, Secure The Bag and Ryan Kane haven’t responded.
