Update 10/09/2022 2:20pm:

Kanye West recently spoke about Lizzo’s appearance during a Tucker Carlson interview, saying “Let's set aside the fact whether it's fashion and Vogue, which it's not, or if someone thinks it's attractive, to each is own. It's actually clinically unhealthy. For people to promote that, it's demonic.” The quote from West went viral, along with numerous other moments from the rapper. Now, Lizzo has seemingly addressed the comments from West.

During a concert the performer had in Toronto, Canada, Lizzo stopped the show to speak on various people talking about her in America. “Everybody in America got my motherf**king name in they motherf**king mouth, for no motherf**king reason!” While Lizzo didn’t mention West by name, she continued, "I’m minding my fat Black beautiful business.” From there, Lizzo asked the Toronto crowd, “Can I live here?” which was met with a massive roar. Take a look above.

From Mike Epps and TK Kirkland to Jillian Michaels and Aries Spears, it seems like everyone has an opinion on Lizzo's weight these days. The three-time Grammy award winner has sparked several debates online about "fat shaming," "body positivity," and more.  There's no denying the positive impact that she has had on plus-size women all over the world with her unapologetic half-nude posts on Instagram and television productions like Lizzo's Watch Out for the Big Grrrls. Nevertheless, there are those who remain skeptical about the way she presents her self-confidence, citing her weight as a means of provoking the public to indulge themselves in unhealthy dietary habits. In a recent sit-down interview with Tucker Carlson on Tucker Carlson Live, Kanye West weighed in on Lizzo's physical appearance before condemning the public for showering her with acceptance instead of encouraging her to lose weight.

"Now let's talk about Gabby and my good friend Lizzo. Lizzo works with my trainer, a friend of mine, Harly Pasternak," Kanye said. "When Lizzo loses 10 pounds and announces it, the bots on Instagram, they attack her for losing weight because the media wants to put a perception that being overweight is the new goal, when it's actually unhealthy...Let's set aside the fact whether it's fashion and Vogue, which it's not, or if someone thinks it's attractive, to each is own. It's actually clinically unhealthy. For people to promote that, it's demonic."

Despite Kanye's opinion of Lizzo's physical appearance, she has legions of supporters who find her attractive and inspiring just the way she is. Nevertheless, his aforementioned hot take seems to have split the public right down the middle between those who agree and those who don't.
