New developments have been arriving in the YSL RICO case involving Young Thug, Gunna, and more. According to reports, Thugger and his lawyer Brian Steel filed a motion that asked a judge to suppress statements he made while in police custody during an involuntary interrogation.

Steel claims that two officers interrogated Young Thug while at the DeKalb County Jail, even though the rapper never waived his Miranda rights. Steel alleges that Thugger was put in an interrogation room without his legal counsel's consent, knowledge, or permission.

The filing went on to say, “All of Mr. Williams’ statements must be suppressed from the trial in the above-referenced case, and all witnesses must be instructed not to utter the fact that Mr. Williams made any statements which were not voluntarily made, were made in violation of his Constitutional right to counsel and made in violation of Miranda warning.”

Another request made by the rapper's legal team found him asking that the judge return phones and computers taken from his home in Sandy Springs, Georgia, in July 2015. The rapper allegedly threatened a security guard at a mall before the raid on his home. The felony charges the rapper faced following the raid were dropped after a trial ruled the search of his house was unconstitutional. Stay tuned for more updates.
