In June 2022, a judge denied bond for Young Thug in the YSL RICO case. The judge said the trial for the RICO case would begin on January 9, 2023. Now, Young Thug has been denied bond a third time in the case.

Young Thug appeared in a courtroom this past Thursday, with his lawyer Brian Steel speaking on his behalf. Steel made a plea to the judge, noting the rapper was willing to be placed in 24-hour home confinement. Additionally, Steel said the prosecution on the case was creating a false narrative by using Thugger’s 2014 lyrics as evidence.

While speaking to TMZ on the matter, Steel said, “The Court is honorable and we respect its rulings. Justice will not be denied.” He continued, “We are totally focused on preparation for our upcoming trial, and we remain steadfast in our efforts to defend Mr. Williams against these false allegations.”
