DJ Akademiks has been making headlines as of late, as the personality recently engaged in a back-and-forth with Russell Simmons over comments he made about hip hop pioneers. Now, Toya Johnson, the mother of Reginae Carter and former love interest of Lil Wayne, has called out Akademiks over comments he made about Carter, calling her a “b***h” in the process.
While speaking on Carter, Akademiks said, “Reginae loved hood n****s; she loved YFN Lucci.” He continued, “You know these b***h— let me not call her a b***h. These chicks love a hood n***a until he's facing 25 to life.”
Following these comments, Johnson hopped on social media to call out Akademiks while defending her daughter. “@akademiks I can't stand men that do b***h s**t. Keep my daughter name out your mouth. Clout chasing is at an all-time high. Let her live her 23 yr old life,” said Johnson. She continued, "Calling her a b***h and all that other s**t is not cool.” Johnson concluded, “You men are [worse] than females and this s**t is getting out of hand.” Take a look above.
